There are plenty of choices when it comes to Italian restaurants in Brisbane. To make it easier for you, we’ve rounded up 10 of the best Italian restaurants in Brisbane.

1889 Enoteca

If you’re looking for a unique and heritage-rich dining experience, look no further than 1889 Enoteca. This Italian restaurant is located in the antique quarter of Woolloongabba, in the historic Moreton Rubber Works building. In this space you can find a restaurant and wine bar, and the cellar is available for private dining and functions for bigger gatherings of people. The menu features traditional Roman fare that’s perfect for enjoying in our relaxed but sophisticated setting.

Tartufo Classic Italian

Tartufo is always a great experience, whether you’re just stopping in for a drink or two at the bar or sitting down for a meal. They really know how to treat your customers right. From the moment they walk in, to the wonderful bartenders and their new cocktail and beer suggestions.

If you ever need to book your trip to Brisbane at the last minute, you can bet that Tartuffo will always get you a seat at the bar. The food is outstanding, and we’ve loved every dish we’ve had. The cocktails are also amazing. Tony, Gordy and their crew offer the warmest hospitality in Brisbane. It’s like being transported to a fine European dining experience.

Julius Pizzeria

We were warmly greeted by Kristian as soon as we arrived, which made for a great start to the evening. He made us feel completely at ease and as if we had already known him for a long time. The food was fantastic – some of the best Italian food we’ve ever had, and the cocktails were wonderful. We were highly impressed by this place. All in all, the meal was made by Kristian’s great service. He is extremely good at what he does and really livens up the whole restaurant.

Little tip: The place usually gets busy around 6-7.30pm, so if you want to avoid the rush, come in a bit later. They don’t take bookings, so be prepared to wait, but they will take your number and call you 5 minutes prior to a table being available.

Putia Pure Food Kitchen

At Putia Pure Food Kitchen, we focus on whole, fresh foods with a unique twist. Our ever-changing seasonal menu features a delicious selection of salads, cakes and sweets made fresh daily. We also offer a range of boutique drinks prepared in our open kitchen. Our dishes reflect our love of diverse cuisines with a focus on freshness and simplicity. We use local produce and edible herbs and flowers from our own garden.

Corbett & Claude

Corbett & Claude is the perfect place to gather with friends, unwind and celebrate. The restaurant is slick, fashionable and very Brisbane CBD. It’s semi-underground as well which contributes to a cool atmosphere. Their menu features delicious share plates, pizzas and mains that will tantalize your taste buds. Thirsty? They’ve got you covered with our craft beers, wines and signature cocktails. Join us on this journey and come together to enjoy quality food and drinks served with a side of good vibes by the restaurant’s talented team.

Popolo is the perfect restaurant for those who want to indulge in some amazing Italian cuisine. With a range of delicious dishes made with only the finest ingredients, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Popolo is situated in one of Brisbane’s most popular areas, with a stunning view of the river and cityscape. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, family lunch or catching up with friends, this is the perfect spot.

The service at Popolo is outstanding – our waiter was attentive and friendly, and my nephew who is normally quite shy warmed up to him straight away. Thanks so much to the chef and staff for making our experience so wonderful. We can’t wait to come back!

OTTO Ristorante Brisbane

Otto Ristorante Brisbane offers amazing food in an ideal setting with top-notch service to boot – it’ll definitely exceed your expectations!

The location is excellent, with a fantastic view of the river and CBD from all tables. The restaurant is beautifully set up, with high-quality menus and table decor, and the staff are all well-dressed and match the setting. There is a good variety on the menu, with a number of daily specials, so most people will be able to find something they like. In addition, there is an extensive cocktail and wine list. Our main waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly, and happy to help when needed.

The Spaghetti House

This restaurant on the edge of the Southbank amazes with its amazing food selection – we’ve never had a bad meal here. The staff are also great – our water was always replenished straight away.

Furthermore, this restaurant has an extensive gluten-free menu, which is great for those who want to enjoy Italian carbs guilt-free. The wine selection is also fantastic – there’s something to suit every taste. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Marinara Cafe and Restaurant

If you’re looking for an authentic Italian dining experience, this is the place for you. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the menu selection is great. We loved the gingham tablecloths and the homey interior that made us feel like we were in my grandma’s kitchen.

The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining areas, making it a great choice for warmer months. Whether you’re looking for a romantic date night spot, a family-friendly restaurant, or a place to meet up with friends, this place has it all.

We highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic cuisine, friendly and prompt service, reasonable prices, and inviting ambience.

Verve Cafe

This Italian restaurant in Brisbane is a hidden gem. This cafe is well hidden. As you go downstairs you feel as though it might be dark and dingy, but to our surprise, it was massive and well-lit. The food is mainly Italian, and the pasta dishes are the best in Brisbane, if not Australia. We can’t recommend this place enough and the staff were extremely accommodating. Compliments to the chef.
